Short-Term Counseling at Availia is a structured, time-limited counseling service for individuals seeking professional support around substance use concerns without the commitment of a formal treatment program. No diagnosis, assessment, or referral is required to get started. Sessions are conducted by a licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) using evidence-based counseling approaches in a judgment-free, client-centered environment. This is clinical counseling — not coaching — and is appropriate for individuals who want meaningful, professional support on their own terms. This service is limited to six sessions. If at any point a formal SUD assessment or ongoing counseling program feels like the right next step, that option is always available. A discounted 6-session package is available for this service.
