Individual SUD Counseling Session

Service Description

Individual counseling is a blend of case management, supportive check-ins on program material, and person-centered, solution-focused talk therapies like CBT. Prior SUD Assessment required. Individual session frequency can depend on recommended level of care, according to the latest ASAM guidelines (4th Edition). Sessions are available in person at our Spokane office or virtually, scheduled at times that work for you. For clients in Intensive Outpatient (IOP), ASAM Level 2.1, individual sessions are once weekly. In the next, lower level of treatment intensity, Level 1.5 Relapse Prevention (RP), entails bi-weekly individual sessions, and in Levels 1.5 Continuing Care (CC) and 1.5 Educational Outpatient (Ed-OP), individual sessions are once monthly. For clients enrolled in a Deferred Prosecution treatment timeline, they complete IOP, RP, CC, and then continue attending individual sessions once monthly until successfully complete with 24 months treatment and completing in good status. Sessions are scheduled by the hour and available on an ongoing or as-needed basis (additional sessions can be scheduled at the client's discretion). Payment is due at time of booking unless otherwise approved by management. A 24-hour cancellation notice is required to cancel or reschedule without a fee.
