Anger Management Education Class

Service Description

This evidence-based class covering anger awareness, emotional triggers, mindfulness training, and practical de-escalation strategies. More specific categories covered include cognitive bias in perception, social stress and resulting health impacts, basic neuroscience, communication principles, and relationship repair. Delivered by a NAMA-Certified Anger Management Specialist, Level Two (CAMS-II), every Friday at 4:00pm-6:00pm, in-person in Spokane or virtually statewide. Commonly completed to fulfill a court requirement, and open to anyone ready to do the work. Clients attend weekly until they have completed their required hours per court-order or anger assessment. Check your court-paperwork to determine your program level of number of hours required. We will provide proof of completing a Level I program after 4 hours programming and participation, and Level II starts at 8 hours. Virtual attendance may not be accepted by all referring entities. Confirm with your probation officer or referring party before scheduling virtually.
